Two childhood friends -- Boy, a gang member in Mexico City, and Mauricio, a cholo from Tijuana -- plan various robberies in Mexico City so they can save money for their main objective: to kidnap a wealthy businessman in Tijuana, collect the ransom and travel to Los Angeles to start a new, crime-free life. But their plans go awry when Boy murders a policeman.
