2002 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship: Maryland vs. Indiana
By trouncing Indiana 64-52 in the 2007 finals, the Maryland Terrapins won their first national championship, with point guard Juan Dixon scoring 18 points and winning the award for Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. His teammate Lonny Baxter did his part by scoring 15 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Leading only once in the game, the Hoosiers just couldn't sink their 3-pointers, making fewer than half of those shots.
