This film -- this beautiful, beautiful film that inspires with gorgeous images even as it depicts the fierce brutality of war -- is presented here in a glorious 2.35:1 widescreen, with Dolby Surround. (Mono for the French dub.) There is also a trailer and while the fan in me wants a commentary from director Attenborough and a restored print (the film looks mostly terrific, but there are a lot of print flaws in the final 20 minutes or so), I'm very, very glad to have this film on DVD.
