In perhaps his greatest role, Richard Harris plays an English aristocrat named John Morgan, who is captured by Dakota Sioux in 1825 and eventually becomes their leader. But Morgan must first take the Sun Vow to prove his courage. Withstanding all tests of pain, Morgan will gain the hand of Running Deer (Corinna Tsopei), sister of Chief Yellow Hand (Manu Tupou). Elliot Silverstein directs.
