Plagued by a loveless marriage, a stressful job and an estranged relationship with his only daughter, sad sack Francois Maurey (Francois Berleand) receives a welcome shot of excitement when he begins an affair with his new employee, Florence (Delphine Rollin). But when a mysterious series of dangerous events begin to occur around him, Francois starts to suspect that his new love may not have the best of intentions.
