A Year Without Love
Set in 1996, this voyeuristic drama from first-time director Anahi Berneri chronicles a year in the life of a 30-year-old Argentinean writer who has contracted AIDs and feels detached from everything -- his family, his paramours and even his illness. Poet Pablo Pérez (Juan Minujin) trolls the streets and underground porn shows looking for love, but he finds his place when a gay tabloid ad piques his interest in the sadomasochistic scene.
