Wealthy Acapulco businessman David Montalvo (Saúl Lisazo) is sole heir to the family fortune, much to the chagrin of his half brother, Marcelo (Guillermo García Cantú), and making for much heated drama in this absorbing Mexican soap opera. Marcelo marries Lorena (Patricia Manterola) as part of an elaborate plot to kill David and get the money, but the scheme backfires, making the men rivals for Lorena's love as well as for the business empire.
