The dogs are beautiful, but they don't make up for the lack of plot and acting. A girl gets injured playing catcher when a fastball veers slightly out of control and beans her on the arm. A vehicle driven by the bad guys runs through four-way stop signs, careens wildly, and spins out of control before crashing into a pigsty.
