A group of skeptical friends living on a tiny island in New England unwisely decide to experiment with the dark arts and, as a result, set free an Egyptian God of the underworld, Anubis. Leaving death and destruction in its wake, Anubis goes on a killing spree that seems unstoppable, forcing those still alive to come up with a plan to overpower the otherworldly beast before they, too, lose their lives and their souls.
