In the Moroccan beach town of Tangier, young fish-selling entrepreneur Driss (Ouassini Embarek) strikes up an unlikely friendship with crotchety café owner Fouad (Jacques Nolot), who accepts Driss's proposal to help fix up the café in exchange for making Driss a business partner. But a fog of rumors and deception soon befalls Driss's grand plans in this intimate comedy-drama based on a short story by Paul Bowles.
