An insurance salesman and father of triplets, Leonard Hoffman (Alan Arkin) devises an elaborate insurance fraud scheme in order to raise the funds necessary to send his three sons to Yale. His plan involves collecting on an accidental death policy (think Double Indemnity). When it turns out that he's been duped, however, Hoffman must find a way out of his seemingly hopeless predicament. Directed by John Cassavetes.
