Gypsy coffee vendor Michele (popular Italian leading man Nino Manfredi) illegally hawks espresso aboard a train in an effort to raise money for his sick son. In each compartment he visits, Michele cooks up a new identity -- a war hero or a concert pianist, for instance -- to connect with his customers. But with conductors, police and other officials eager to stop Michele's antics, our hero must think and move fast in this light Italian comedy.
