Their third feature-length TV special finds detective partners Christine Cagney (Sharon Gless) and Mary Beth Lacey (Tyne Daly) grappling with personal issues as Mary Beth's estranged father (Richard Bradford) reappears, and Christine becomes embroiled in city politics. The cast also includes Sandra Oh, John Karlen and Lynne Thigpen, who's a standout as the captain of a police precinct suspected of corruption.
