In exchange for his room and board, trustworthy college student Charles (Scott Baio) looks after Powell kids Jamie (Nicole Eggert), Sarah (Josie Davis) and Adam (Alexander Polinsky), lending them a hand with household chores, homework assignments and typical teenage problems. This sitcom's other characters include Charles's wacky pal, Buddy (Willie Aames), and the kids' stern grandfather, Walter (James T. Callahan).

Summary of Season 1 (1984) - 3 discs
Acting as a live-in nanny to the three Pembroke children (April Lerman, Jonathan Ward and Michael Pearlman) to help pay his way through college, Charles (Scott Baio) is supposed to be in charge of the household. But most of the time, it's a toss-up as to who's really running the show. Willy Aames co-stars as Charles's well-intentioned best friend, Buddy, with Jennifer Runyon appearing as Charles's love interest, Gwendolyn.
