An unemployed Italian named Domenico decides to rob a bank. But when his plans go awry, he takes a hostage. Fortunately for him, his hostage, Tommaso, is even more disgruntled than Domenico and would welcome the opportunity to disappear and start a new life. So, this very odd couple hits the road together … and that's when the real trouble begins!
