Children of the Century
This is the true story of the romance between burgeoning French author George Sand (Juliette Binoche) and a much younger poet, Alfred de Musset (Benoit Magimel), whom she meets when she flees to Paris in the early 1830s after leaving her husband. Sand's affair with Musset and her pre-feminist behavior make her the scandal of the city, as she develops the personality that would later make her one of the century's most famous literary figures.
