This film features historic television broadcasts of renowned French composer Pierre Boulez conducting Claude Debussy's "Nocturnes: Fêtes" and "Jeux: Poème Dansé" in 1968 and "Images for Orchestra" and "Rondes de Printemps," among others, in 1974. This restored footage also captures Boulez conducting Arnold Schoenberg's "Accompaniment to a Cinematographic Scene," op. 34, in 1974 and Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" in 1997.
