With his grieving, alcoholic father (Chris Eigeman) powerless to help, anger-filled Adam (Evan Peters) turns to a priest named Dan (Kevin Sorbo) for guidance to deal with his grief over the abrupt deaths of his sister and mother. Getting through adolescence -- let alone his first year of high school -- is tougher for Adam than for most kids, and he must turn a page soon because he hasn't cut his hair in two years.
