Director Theo van Gogh's biting urban drama follows a quartet of friends who fill their idle time committing petty crimes until a big-league gangster (Johnny de Mol) and his gal pal (Katja Schuurman) persuade them to rob a bank. After getting caught in the act, the youngsters are dispatched to a harsh, experimental reformatory where they come face to face with the realities of their hip gangsta lifestyle.
