Fred the undertaker discovers a way to bring the dead back to life in this tale of crime and zombies. The mortician happens upon a serum that allows him to revive corpses for an hour at a time and send them off to do his bidding, a crime spree that includes getting revenge on his ex-wife and harassing the small town's chief of police (Jeff Fahey). Zombies are on the attack, and it's up to the dedicated cop and Fred's assistant to save the day.
