Shep (Leo Gannon) has never committed to anything in his life except for fatherhood. He's found no reason for him and his daughter, 13-year-old Nora (Kirsten Carmody), to plant roots anywhere, preferring instead to go from place to place in search of work. When a quick stopover leaves Nora enamored with stability, this in turn makes Shep consider a more grounded life. But heartbreak is in store when their one chance at permanence falls apart.
