Richard McMurray's (Campbell Scott) first novel made him a star, complete with a beach house, a beautiful wife -- and a bad case of writer's block. But when his wife kicks him out, McMurray crashes with two students, who serve as the inspiration for his next book. The cramped apartment soon becomes filled with romantic tension and literary ambition, as Jacqueline (Lizzy Caplan) and Kristen (Izabella Miko) start to pen their own stories.
