Filmmaker Heinz Emigholz leads a tour through the Villa Cargnacco -- an enormous mansion on Lake Garda in Lombardy, Italy, designed by controversial proto-fascist poet Gabriele D'Annunzio -- in this absorbing documentary. Also occupying the complex in which the villa stands is the architecturally impressive Vittoriale, a state museum designed by the innovative D'Annunzio over 17 years. The tour covers 15 magnificent rooms in the lavish home.
