Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that this intense Groundhog Day-meets-24 thriller follows a police detective on the run. Scenes include gun battles in which people are killed. Viewers see a main character get shot and killed at close range, with blood splattering against a window as a result. In one scene, a character removes a bullet from another person using a pair of pliers. Anticipation of violence is constant, providing lots of tension. Children are sometimes threatened. In at least one scene, a couple showers together, with oblique references to sexual activity.

Sexual Content

Lots of attention on Diggs' body -- tight clothing, topless shots, etc. An underwear-clad couple wakes up in bed together. Couple showers together -- hints at sex.

Violence

Lots of guns, blood, peril, murder, shootouts, car crashes, chase scenes.

Language

"Ass," "hell," "screw," etc.

Social Behavior

The main character is a good person accused of a bad deed. He defends himself using his gun and his wits. Diggs is one of the few people of color to play a lead role in a primetime network drama; the cast overall is multi-racial. Women tend to be victim characters.

Consumerism

Car models are obvious -- BMW, Mercedes, etc.
