Filmmaker Alan Lomax re-created a country juke joint at the 1966 Newport Folk Festival, inviting musicians including 1920s Delta blues legends and 1950s Chicago virtuosos, then stocking the bar with liquor, sitting back and filming the results. Watch as the audience dances up a storm and the musicians taunt each other between scorching sets. Participants include Howlin' Wolf, Skip James, Son House, Bukka White and Reverend Pearly Brown.
