Pig and Runt were born just minutes apart in the same Dublin hospital -- an auspicious beginning that seals them in an almost twin-like relationship. They isolate themselves, encourage each other's destructive tendencies and even make up their own language. But just before they turn 17, their bond is threatened and when Runt starts yearning for freedom, Pig goes haywire.
