Director Michael Curtiz's 1941 aviation drama follows the collaborative efforts of a Navy flight surgeon (Errol Flynn), a squadron commander (Fred MacMurray) and a researcher (Ralph Bellamy) trying to find ways to prevent blackouts and altitude sickness in dive bombers. The trio gets off to a rocky start, however, thanks to the cocksure Lt. Doug Lee (Flynn). Regis Toomey plays a hotshot flyboy, and Alexis Smith portrays Flynn's love interest.
