When the daring Doctor (Tom Baker) meets four survivors of the planet Minyos, which was destroyed millennia ago, he is confronted with a mysterious piece of the puzzle that is the history of the Time Lords. As the intrepid Minyan voyagers seek the lost ship that holds the key to reviving their weakened gene pool and regenerating their race, the Doctor joins them in battling an evil, all-powerful computer and killer robots.
