Donizetti: L'Elisir d'Amore
Recorded in Tokyo in 1959, this rare performance of Gaetano Donizetti's "L'Elisir d'Amore" features legendary opera singers Ferruccio Tagliavini and Alda Noni in their only complete live performance ever caught on film. The original black-and-white production remains intact, save for a nine-minute video gap at the start of Dulcamara's entrance scene that has been filled with still images from the performance.
