Down Argentine Way
Pin-up gal and girl next door Betty Grable stars as Glenda Crawford, an American heiress who falls for a dashing South American horse breeder in this musical comedy. Glenda's parents disapprove of Ricardo Quintana (Don Ameche), and the star-crossed lovers face tough odds as they fight for the right to be together. In between all the feuding and fussing are standout song-and-dance numbers by Carmen Miranda and the Nicholas Brothers.
