Plagued by self-doubt and a creative block, English composer Edward Elgar (James Fox) believed all was lost ... until he heard the sublime skill of Jelly d'Aranyi (Selma Alispahic), a remarkably talented Hungarian violinist. Through their short-lived yet touching relationship, Elgar regains his creative inspiration, anointing Aranyi as his "tenth muse." Directed by Paul Yule, this drama set in 1919 also stars Faith Brook and Rupert Frazer.
