In this surreal, comedic fantasy series, Jonny Lee Miller is Eli Stone, a cutthroat lawyer who experiences a change of heart after he begins experiencing bizarre hallucinations. Perplexed, Stone seeks advice from a colorful variety of experts to help him determine what's real and what's in his head. Yet when he starts ditching his clients to go to bat for the underprivileged, Stone's friends and confidants really begin to question his sanity.

And adding insult to injury, he's having prophetic hallucinations and prescient visions. Could it be that he has a higher calling? From the creators of the popular drama "Brothers and Sisters," this quirky series follows the quasi-spiritual exploits of Eli, the people's prophetic attorney.

Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that, aside from a few semi-steamy scenes involving adults in the throes of implied passion, there's no reason families can't watch this show together. The overarching message of helping others is a positive one, and the language is surprisingly clean. The main character also proves a worthy role model as he navigates his newfound role of once-sharky lawyer turned do-gooder.
