Writer, director and animator Sam Chen's biographical short film about the life and work of famed sculptor Alberto Giacometti -- known for his friendship with Jean-Paul Sartre and his spindly, skeletal interpretations of the human form -- reveals a tortured artist driven by his own demons. Presented in black-and-white computer animation, the film is the result of a three-year collaboration between Chen and composer Jamey Scott.
