Seeking refuge from the outside world, a reclusive poet (Anthony Perkins) takes up residence in a department store, only to discover he isn't alone. Among his new neighbors is a beautiful girl (Charmian Carr) who's lived there most of her life and is desperate to leave. Paul Bogart directs this made-for-television musical composed by legendary lyricist Stephen Sondheim and based on John Collier's short story of the same name.
