Two decades after a horrific accident in which an old priest is killed by a falling cross, the secluded town of Wine-Spring is welcoming Father Wu (Ma Wu) from the Vatican to reopen the local church. But their holy mission is opposed by a local elder and a Taoist priest who believe the house of prayer is haunted.
