When Wall Street trader Tony (Joel Nuñez) finds the wreckage of a Cuban raft while on vacation in Florida, he decides to visit Cuba to find the families of the people who died trying to reach the United States -- and explore his own roots. Tony tracks down the victims' relatives but is shocked to meet Mariana, a beautiful woman he had assumed was one of the doomed rafters, and even more surprised when he starts to fall for her.
