City kid Naomi (Maho Ukai) is irritated when her mother runs off with her boyfriend and leaves her to spend the summer working at her aunt's hotel. When Naomi arrives, she learns that her aunt has volunteered her to take care of an elderly relative with Alzheimer's (Yoshie Minami). Naomi rebels by taking up with a local boy, only to have the relationship end. Soon, the two women grow close as they share private details of their lives.
