After locating her runaway daughter, Rachel (Orli Perl), mother Liz (Razia Israeli) is told a story by Rachel's bedouin lover, Mustafa (Sami Samir). He recalls a tale from his youth about Leila, a free-spirited woman who fell in love with the bedouin Najim. Najim's father opposed the union, ultimately resulting in Leila's forced circumcision.
