Hoping to strike it rich, brothers Johnny (Yannick Bisson) and Connor (Jeremy Ratchford) travel to New Zealand during an 1860s gold rush. After his brother is murdered, Johnny runs into wild adventures with shady speculators, gamblers and other lowlifes. As stories of major gold discoveries spread, Johnny searches for his brother's killer, partners up with prospector Henry (Andy Anderson) and pursues local girl Lily (Lucy Bayler).
