It's closing night for Taipei's run-down cinema, the Fu-Ho. King Hu's 1968 martial arts classic Dragon Inn is showing, but the most interesting characters are in the theater. With very little dialogue, Ming-liang Tsai's film observes the old cinema and its eccentric staff and patrons throughout the night, as they come, go, and partake in plenty of activities besides watching the movie. Kang-sheng Lee, Shiang-chyi Chen and Kiyonobu Mitamura star.
