Part performance piece and part documentary, this intimate program follows two renowned Russian musicians -- virtuoso violinist Jascha Heifetz and cellist Gregor Piatigorsky -- playing through a collection of classical works by Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Johann Sebastian Bach, Frederic Chopin and Sergei Prokofiev. Rare footage and beautiful music combine to produce a portrait of each artist at work and at play.
