When he swaps horses with the Tombstone Kid (Archie Ricks) -- a wrongly accused man on the run from the law -- singing cowboy Tex Randall (Tex Ritter) gets arrested by the local sheriff in a case of mistaken identity. Saloon owner James Clark (Earl Dwire) clears Tex of wrongdoing, but Tex soon discovers that the barkeep has been concocting a devious plan that would put the Tombstone Kid's life -- and Tex's -- in jeopardy.
