After five years working as a nurse in Canada, Abigail (Alessandra De Rossi) travels home to the Philippines, where she's looking forward to reconnecting with her family. Delighted at her return, the whole town welcomes her as they would a conquering hero. But Abigail's joy is short-lived when it's learned that she's contracted the highly contagious SARS virus.
