Director Thomas Carr cranked out this trio of shoot-'em-up B Westerns -- along with three others -- in just a month by using the same locations, costumes and star team, former Hopalong Cassidy sidekicks James Ellison and Russell Hayden. In Hostile Country, outlaws kidnap Shamrock's (Ellison) stepfather; in Marshal of Heldorado, Shamrock and Lucky (Hayden) take on bank-robbing bros; and in West of the Brazos, a Shamrock imposter is on the loose.
