A gay couple becomes entangled with a young woman who proposes the idea of conceiving a child with them and creating a family. A hit at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, the story gets more complicated as conservative family members get involved. Ultimately, the guys and the woman carrying their child realize that they will have to decide for themselves the true meaning of what family means. Ryosuke Hashiguchi writes and directs.
