Despondent because he had to return home to live with his mother after a dry run in the romance and work departments, Richard Dice (Rob Lowe) is thrilled to have something to do when he's picked to sit on a jury. Unfortunately, the accused is a woman (Colleen Camp) he was enamored with when they were both in elementary school. He can't imagine her being responsible for the crime, so he takes it upon himself to find the true perpetrator.
