Hitchhiking takes a sinister turn for a young Canadian DJ on his way to California. Car troubles force Edgar (Shiloh Fernandez) to use his cash to send his girlfriend ahead by bus, but his plan to thumb his way there quickly goes awry. One crazy ride later, Ed finds himself in the company of psycho sisters Veronica and Gloria, and so begins a hallucinogenic journey into dark secrets and surprising twists.
