In the town of Exceptional Vista, odd things have been happening since the steel nut factory shut down. But life becomes downright bizarre when atomic scientist Dr. Karel Lamonte (Campbell Scott) stumbles across a corpse. As more dismembered bodies turn up, the eccentric local sheriff (who doubles as the town's coroner) suspects the victims have been eaten. But not even he realizes that the true culprits are aliens!
