Iranian writer-director Rafi Pitts tells the story of the fiery and free-spirited Marhab (Ali Nicksaulat), a mechanic newly moved to a bleak suburb of Tehran, where he struggles to put together a life worth living in a harsh and oppressive environment. Hopes for a brighter future emerge when he romances the widowed Khatoun (Mitra Hajjar), but soon, the couple discovers that the cruel realities of life are not easily cheated.
