In this wicked tale of catfights taken to the max, bossy Courtney (Rose McGowan) convinces Marcie (Julie Benz) and Julie (Rebecca Gayheart) to kidnap Liz (Charlotte Ayanna) to keep her from becoming prom queen. When Liz chokes and dies, they try to stage her death as accidental, but are seen by mousy Fern (Judy Greer). To quiet Fern, the girls give her a makeover and let her into their clique. But Julie soon begins to crack under the pressure.
